On July 30th 2017 my wife AdriElle turned 30. We had a big party and celebrated this amazing woman. This is what I shared with our family and friends who attended. I found 30 scriptures that I see she has put into practice or is a result of her life. I then shared why I picked the particular verse. The scriptures will be in bold, my words in regular type. I’m sharing it on this blog for mothers who need a role model, sons and daughters who need a hero, and husbands to consider and be thankful for their own wives. My wife is someone worth emulating, so go on ahead and emulate.
My wife AdriElle loves fruit and produces fruit of the Spirit.
1.Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
The reason AdriElle produces fruit in life is because she loves and clings to Jesus!
2. John 15:4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
AdriElle is LOVING
3. 1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (AdriElle loves well because of her relationship with Jesus)
4. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. (AdriElle daily lays down her life for others)
5. Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. (AdriElle’s love is sincere, she discerns evil and hates it)
6. Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. (AdriElle’s love grows stronger through tough times, a true test of it being spiritual fruit)
AdriElle is JOYFUL
7. Psalms 126:2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them. (AdriElle has the greatest laugh of all time, it destroys strongholds of darkness! Hello! The JOY OF THE LORD IS STRENGTH Nehemiah 8:10)
8. Ecclesiastes 9:7 Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. (AdriElle has great joy because she knows God has approved of her)
9. Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (AdriElle produces joy because she practices being in the presence of God)
AdriElle produces PEACE
10. Hebrews 12:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (AdriElle is able to give out peace to others because of her willingness to be under the Lordship of Jesus and learn hard lessons)
11. Proverbs 3:17 Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. (AdriElle is wise and chooses peace for her life)
12. Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. (Because AdriElle lives rightly before God she produces peace)
13. Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (AdriElle brings peace to situations wherever she goes because she is a child of God)
AdriElle produces PATIENCE
14. Proverbs 19:11 A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense. (AdriElle doesn’t jump on people for mistakes, another mark of Spiritual fruit)
15. James 5:7-8 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. (AdriElle is not misunderstanding of reaping and sowing concepts, she is patient knowing God will repay her work)
16. Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (AdriElle doesn’t give up!)
AdriElle is KIND
17. Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (AdriElle is known for her kindness)
18. Proverbs 11:17 Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves. (AdriElle thrives because of her kindness, Legacy Dance thrives because of her kindness)
19. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. (Love is kind- we see this fruit of Adri’s kindness and its evidence of Godly love)
20. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (AdriElle teaches this kindness to our children)
AdriElle produces GOODNESS

21. 1 Peter 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge. (AdriElle hasn’t stopped merely at believing in God, but Holy Spirit has spurred her on to do good!)
22. Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (AdriElle understands this Godly formula)
AdriElle is FAITHFUL
23. Proverbs 20:6 Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find? (AdriElle doesn’t just talk, she stands firm with me and our children)
24. Luke 18:8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (I am convinced that Jesus is going to call AdriElle faithful)
25. Revelation 2:10 Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown. (AdriElle endures because of her love for God and it’s produced faithfulness)
AdriElle is GENTLE
26. Proverbs 25:15 Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. (AdriElle corrects with gentleness and it is far more effective than harsh words)
27. Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. (People know AdriElle as gentle)
28. 1 Peter 3:1-4 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (AdriElle is a Godly wife, gently leading by example so her husband can be won over. Her beauty is both outward and inward, the more you get to know her the more beautiful you realize she is. She is able to produce gentleness because she knows who she is in Christ)
AdriElle has SELF-CONTROL
29. Proverbs 16:32 Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. (Because AdriElle produces self-control she is very powerful)
30. Ephesians 4:26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. (AdriElle doesn’t react out of anger, she is able to have self-control)
